I went in for a very drastic restyle after having the same long hair for the last 11 years and I couldn't have been in better hands. I was quite nervous, especially since not many people know how to cut curly hair like mine but Louise was an absolute star. She listened to what I wanted and made sure that everything was exactly right before moving on so I was never uncomfortable with anything she did. She was a fantastic hairdresser and a lovely person who couldn't have made me feel more relaxed about totally changing my appearance and did a great job - it was my first time in Jason Shankey but I'll definitely be back, and I'll definitely be asking for Louise!
Had a hair cut today, advised how I wanted my hair cut and even showed a pic of the type of style. My hair turned out to have 3 UNEVEN styles in one and not even one close to what I wanted. Another salon booked to try and save my hair. Ashamed to go out in public with it. I WONT BE BACK NOR WILL I RECCOMMEND. Even hairdressers/ barbers and non hairdressers/barbers have seen the pics and said it was shocking!!
I have worked out that I have been going to this branch of Jason Shankey for at least six years.Can you get a higher recommendation than that?Let's see what we can do. First a bit about me. I used to hate getting my haircut. There was a guy who had a place by city hall. Whether he would keep his appointments or not was a coin toss.Then there was the place near the Lidl in city centre. The barber there was good. He had this ability to give me a short back and sides no matter what I asked for.I dreaded getting my haircut. Would always leave disappointed. As a man who has no interest in football there would always be awkward silences after getting asked did I see the match. Not only had I not seen the match, I didn't know who was playing.On a friends recommendation I booked an appointment at Jason Shankey's Lisburn Road with Louise.The rest is history.I now look forward to getting a haircut. Louise listens, which is important. I leave satisfied. She will give her opinion and take on board what I want.Louise is consistent in all aspects of her job. She gives consistently good cuts, she is consistently available when I need an appointment. Most important she is consistently a delight.The talk during the cut always has a lot of laughter, Louise is always in great form come rain or shine. If you're not in the best of form her infectious enthusiasm will lift your spirit.The other staff are always accommodating, offering a coffee when I arrive in. Had a lovely back neck and shoulder massage plus an express facial. Was very good. I rang for an appointment that morning and was lucky enough to get booked at lunchtime. Was offered coffee and all the staff were so nice and friendly. Would recommend it especially for the massage!!!! Pity I wasn't offered a drink of water at the end as I didn't bring any with me. But yes very good offer and service and friendliness 100%.
Been going here for years and Zoe and the team are excellent! Love all the products and would highly recommend the place to anyone!
