very poor coffee id suggest you put 2 shots in next time as advertised. food not really suitable for country. all that rubbish is suited to yuppies . you are in belfast. people love hearty belfast food and a good ulster fry . the pocket fry 11.50 was tasteless. similar to the coffee. very poor service from a couple of laid back young guys more interested in talking about there latest escapades. Nice decor 2 stars.
Friendly place, uniquely good croissants and traybakes. Try the almond croissant - delectable.Likely to be busy, so arrive early or if bunged, consider sitting at one of the outside tables. Or carry out.
We walked 20min longer in the pouring rain to find this place. It was totally worth it. It has a gorgeous view of the Queen's College and the botanical gardens (which you should visit before or after visiting this place) are 5 min away. The guys working there were really friendly and the interior is cozy (Or was it the other way around?). Even with the undying allegiance I have for the coffee shop in my hometown I frequent most, this place seriously had some of the best (if not the best) coffee I have tried in Europe (south of the Nordic countries).
My absolute favourite place for coffee and brunch in Belfast. Don't go though, because I'd rather have it all to myself as it's a lovely - and cosy - little place to enjoy. Green eggs on toast is a solid standard, although they have two specials every week that are nearly always fantastic.
Fantastic small spot. Food was pricey but honestly it's worth it. Staff were lovely also. Will definitely be back
