Overall, a good experience. The staff are friendly and mindful of an animals needs. I called in recently for a check up. Smithers picked up cat flu. I noticed that he was sneezing more than you would expect. The vet fully checked him over. He received a shot of antibiotics and eye drops as he had conjunctivitis. I'm happy to go back again. I paid just under 33 for the visit. I felt that it was reasonable for the care and check up.
Brought in my hamster to have his nails clipped and eyes looked at, the vet was so patient handling such a small creature and made sure he had the correct medical cream, and showed me how to apply it. Was able to make my appointment on the day and they were very understanding when I had to call to say I'd be late due to a delay. Friendly staff, and good animal care. Only downside would be prices, but that is more than usual with vets, as most run high in regards to bills. But pets are worth it and I was glad I chose to go Gortlands.
