Very underwhelming - Fed and Watered has seats torn with equally worn tape covering up the torn fabric. Keen to take customer money but not so keen to reinvest in keeping facilities uptown a reasonable standard There is always something not working - escalators, toilets out of order to name but a few. Management need to up their game.
Always prefer International Airport ahead of City. Generally wait no more than 20mins in security (and that's been a bad day but they do require better automated systems). Yes it requires upgrading for which hopefully it will come soon but compared to many airports in the UK, its quicker & smoother to navigate
Excellent customer care received tonight for my Mum, rang to enquire about special assistance from car park, was informed to go to the orange shelter, in there was a yellow box, press button and speak to special assistance, and they would be there right away! She did as per instructions and no bother at all, Special Thanks to Belfast Special Assistance a job well done!
I traveled from Belfast early with a young family and we had a very straightforward experience. No major queues at 5am on the 12th of June 2018 anyway. There isn't a lot on offer food and drink wise particularly when there is a varied age range, but we managed. I think that the cost of both could be improved however. There were a number of twitter horror stories about delays and long queues, but there was no sign of them when we passed through.
I asked the airport security nicely to be gentle with the tray as it had all of my camera gear loose in there as they require all of it to be out of the safety of my camera bag and all she said was "it's in a tray" then proceeded to slam it down then push it through with force. Absolutely no respect for people's positions I will never travel to Ireland again
