Real amazing pub. Never seen one like this. I enjoyed a meal at the first floor and after a nice wisky. Salmon as a starter and the famous stew (really tasty)

Our third visit to the crown bar restaurant First two great..... Having decided the venue for a meal our with friends you can't imagine the disappointment we felt with the food and service on our third visit. We arrived for our table at 6pm (not the busiest time of the nights service)and waited to be seated. And waited and waited. Eventually we were seated and left at the table and told what was not on the menu. Where we offered a drink. NO.When our food arrived I thought we had been given kiddies portions. Not that I want a mountain on my plate but come on.The service on the other hand was worse than the food with the three front of house staff busy with everything except the customers. The only thing that was good about the Crowns restaurant was the company we were with and I feel embarrassed that we took them there. As one of Belfast most iconic pubs and landmarks i feel sad that it doesn't still live up to the great discription they write about themselves .

Been to the bar four times, 3 whilst working and usually with a few colleagues. The first three visits were back in 2004/5 and it was fantastic with two live bands playing at opposite ends, very lively and entertaining. This recent visit was with my wife during a touring holiday of the whole of Ireland, Belfast was our starting point. The bar was busy, we got served quickly though, and luckily were able to jump into a timely vacated booth. These features are amazing and fun environs... We were then asked by a group of 5 ladies if they might join us the evening got better with loss of chat and interaction, bar staff popping their head in every once in a while to keep the beer wine and soft drinks flowing. The toilets were clean as was the booth. When needed the service at the bar was quick and friendly.... Perfect end to our evening visit to the wonderful city of Belfast, its Christmas market, restaurants and bars. Thank you.

Iconic bar in Belfast. Serve great food and one of the best pints of Guinness in Belfast. Great staff who are quick and efficient even when very busy. A must visit for tourists.

A real old-fashioned pub. A great place with a huge selection of beers and gins. Very good also the food. In my opinion, awesome fish&chips. Very nice service. A place that you have to visit if you're in Belfast!
