I recently purchased a new bike from Mconvey Cycles and couldnt be happier with the service from picking it up and getting fitted. The customer service from all of the staff was excellent. They built the bike to my spec and couldnt of been more helpful. Lance who did the bike fit was so enthusiastic and passionate about his work. He explained the whole process clearly. He was brilliant. I also found they where very competitive on price. I would thouroughly recommend McConvey Cycles to anyone.
Bought a bike from here and it fell apart within 6 months. They refused to honour their warranty and blamed me for everything that happened to it which included cycling in the rain (which they classed as "extreme conditions"). I've since found out that this is basically standard practice for this bike shop.Avoid at all costs. Even Halfords is a better option
I just bought 2 fast hybrid bikes online from McConvey cycles and have been so impressed. The bikes arrived quickly and have clearly been put together really well, I'm absolutely delighted! Went to buy a tire and tube was sold a different width and a tube wit a different valve., after sales guy saw the wheel. Was given a sniggering 'good luck mate' on my way out. First and last time.
Visiting N.I. for a sportive and needed some last minute bits. Found McConveys to be a really well laid out shop with really helpful staff and there was a nice buzz about the place when I was there. Great shop, highly recommend.
