The restaurant is really nice! Reasonably priced food and you get a lot on your plate. I loved the tour, our guide Stuart was very funny and enthusiastic. His knowledge was great and he was really friendly. Would definitely recommend and when I come to Belfast again I will definitely go back to see the new tour that is being introduced later on the year.

Absolutely fantastic. My partner is very interested in history, me not so much. This was so good that even I was fascinated by all the history involved. Even though it's a guided tour you get plenty of time to wander around the different areas and take lots of pictures. You get to go into one of the cellblock wings, some of the administration offices, the "hanging room" and around to the back where the people were buried. Definitely great value for the price of the ticket. Our tour leader was Roy and he was part of the reason we enjoyed it so much. He had a great sense of humour and chatted away with people the whole time. He didn't make us feel rushed and was very knowledgeable.

This was well worth a visit. The tour guide was very good and shared a lot of useful information. The whole experience has been done very well. If you use the hop on hop off bus they will give you a 2 discount. Recommended

First and only time in Jail but loved the experience........ It is great to see how well kept the building and history has been maintained. The guides know their stuff when it comes to the facts of the Gaol and you can see their passion for telling of it's tales and tribulations. If you don't know much about the history of Belfast this is a good place to start as you get a snapshot that makes you want to learn more.

Great facilities from when I last visited a few years back with a great restaurant added (highly recommended but you might need to book). Very knowledgeable guide who started by acting as a Guard for a bit of fun and explained the 'rules'. As we walked around the tour route he took us through the history of the prison as it reflected the reality outside the prison walls. Answered all our questions as we walked around the tour. The tour is both educational and entertaining.
