Yes it's true that the security are a little strict here but in my experience it felt justified in that it was being made clear that it was a gay venue. It felt like they were maintaining a safe space for their customers. This makes sense moreso when you walk in. The majority of the crowd here appear to be between 18 and 25. Nevertheless you will be able to dance the night away here. I only gave this place 3 because I wasn't allowed to put my hoody with my coat in the cloakroom because my hoody is classed a coat. So basically I would have had to pay for an extra hanger. The floor is so sticky that it really needs to be deep cleaned frequently. The toilets are small and very dark.The drinks are very pricey. It has a decent smoking area with heating. You will have a good time here but bear in mind there's a younger crowd and it's expensive.

This place is the pits run by shameless management. Could someone please open a decent gay venue in Belfast where gay people are treated with respect? The market is there. Sadly, N Ireland is a very cold place for gay people- Kremlin in Belfast is the living proof of this. Rotten.
