Extremely disappointing service!! The guy was late and showed up would could be described as a flashy VW Golf Sport. Brief introduction, so brief I can't remember his name. Short tour through the house. I was the first to view it and I was advised that offers had already been placed which I highly doubt as it was just on the market. It felt as though he was using the old sale tactics. I would recommend avoiding the company due to the experience. Clearly the sales staff are property driven and willing to say anything.
One of the worst I've dealt with as a tenant in 20 years of renting all over the UK. Impossible to get a hold of on the phone, and yet if you miss one call from them they'll start scolding you like you're a naughty schoolchild. I rang them over a month before the end of my tenancy to ask what I needed to do to end it and they said they'd get back in touch in a few days with details. I heard nothing back, so assumed that it was all on track. Weeks later (and two weeks before I was due to move out) they rang me back and said I'd need to give a month's written notice. Asked them why they didn't tell me that before and they had no answer. That's a new one on me.
After very many years of not having been involved in the property market, over the last 6 months we had to engage the services of an estate agent to buy; sell; and consider renting 3 separate properties. In each case we received exceptional information, advice, customer service and, most importantly, outcomes through Ulster Property Services. Our key contact was Peter Tughan at the Ballyhackamore branch, whose professionalism, experience, customer liaison and strategic advice was first class, including through some potentially awkward moments. It could not have been bettered. We would highly recommend not looking past UPS estate agency for value, experience and outcomes.
