Got a voucher for Christmas so was excited to try it for a second time. We were very disappointed by the customer service hence the score. Waiter had no clue when we asked questions and then to top it off, we waited almost 50minutes on the bill as there was a technical error with the till. This would have been fine if the customer service had been good. We didn't receive the hot cloth that the table in front received... Nor the complimentary drink! I asked for the bill four times and wasn't even given an apology or offered a drink for the inconvenience of it. I will definitely not be back. Food was great apart from the pilau rice which had a weird taste but the lack of customer service means that I would not return nor recommend to anyone. Very disappointing!
I have been travelling in UK for 3 weeks and this was one the mouth watering indian dinner i had. Everything tasted delicious and each had individual flavour. Too good
Arrived on the first floor to be greated by a family member charging her phone at the reception desk. She barked at the 'paid staff' to deal with us. Then we're were given the wrong drinks. After reading so many good reviews, kept open an mind only to be strongly disappointed with food that has no depth or layering of flavours. Goes from bland to burning in 30 seconds. Family don't pay, customers do, so improve your service and authenticity of food please.
Beautiful decor, mouth watering food, very clean toilets and excellent staff. The restaurant has just recently moved to the new location which occupies corner of Bruce street and Great Victoria Street, with entrance facing Bruce Street. This information was not very clear on the old address a few yards away which stated that they have moved 100 yards to left (to their right, OUR LEFT when we were looking at the board) without indicating that it was the corner but entrance was no more on Victoria Street. Simply we missed the entrance and spent 20 min in roaming in town, only finding about location after calling the restaurant. They are perched on top of Ginger Bistro. All our struggle paid off well in form of delicious spicy Tandoori chicken! Very pleased.
Fantastic restaurant, new address a few metres from old one and very fashionable surroundings. As a vegan I was extremely happy that this restaurant could cater for me. I had a beautiful Dahl curry and some starters. All I can say is that you wont be disappointed, service was excellent. The building is loft style very fashionable and trendy while having a traditional Indian cuisine. All freshly made and very affordable.
