I bought a used Aston Martin V8 Vantage Roadster S via Charles Hurst in Belfast in September 2014 for 71,950. The service at the time was excellent and car arrived on schedule but to my astonishment it was discovered when having some bodywork repair less than 14 months later that the air box had been taped in place with duck tape and a repair had been done which involved bathroom sealant to the bottom of the front spoiler. Both of these repairs were discovered by my local AM dealership and it was confirmed in writing by them that both repairs were very old and therefore existed when the car was purchased.When I raised this with manager of the dealership they refused to take responsibility and reimburse me for the cost of putting the works right which was 750.Despite numerous correspondence with the Charles Hurst Operations manager and their complaints department I have still not received any acceptance or compensation and would urge any potential buyer not to use this dealership as their checks are not thorough and after sales service shocking.This is the third Aston Martin I have owned and I will be buying another one later this year but certainly not from Charles Hurst!!Mr P.
