Sent my car in for a 5yr service, pre-mot check and to fix a broken DAB radio.They found my 2 rear shock absorbers were leaking and needed to be replaced, carried out the work and told be that they'd "got the radio working" despite them only getting a crackly signal over FM radio.. no problem, they booked it in again to actually fix the DAB.. Got to the MOT, the rear socks were the wrong ones, the examiner illustrated his find by removing a rear spring with one hand and zero effort. "Dangerous" and "negligent" were mentioned whilst failing the MOT.Charles Hurst have kindly offered to fix the radio, shocks and retest for me tomorrow after the work is completed and provided a hire car so I could get the wife to work tomorrow. I'll update once the work is completed but, for now, I'll say the front of house staff are fantastic! But the mechanics leave something to be desired however and I'll probably go elsewhere in future. Shame, because the front of house staff are so friendly. Free WiFi and various hot drinks available while you wait.
