As usual this was just superb. Freshest, tastiest food with superb service and a great ambience. Love it.
I still love this place but I have to admit that this third time wasn't on the same level of "WOW" as my other previous two. Good very good excellent quality but very little choice. We basically ended up choosing one starter and one main that tasted in a similar way.
Always good, one of my favourite restaurants in Belfast. If you get the timing wrong youll have a long wait for a table. All the fish is good. Served up with good wine or beer. Excellent service in a relaxed atmosphere. Great pint of Guinness, always crucial. Just an update, was in today and they have a nice Franciscan Stout instead of Guinness. Very good.
I picked this place to celebrate my partner birthday during our stay in Belfast. I cant stress enough about how good the food in this place is. Oysters were so fresh they reminded me the one I used to have at the market in Nice when I was a child, I had the best chowder of my life and the fish soup was amazing. The atmosphere is great, informal but intimate and I am so glad we came here to celebrate this occasion. I would strongly recommend to book a table as the place is tiny and really popular among locals and tourists.
The restaurant is quite famous, and obviously it deserves the reputation. Oysters are good, fresh and not expensive. Chefs special smoked salmon perfectly balanced the salty of salmon with potato salad. And the seafood linguine is the best, cause it is not only tasty but shell free! Love this place!
