These guys saved my bacon during my last trip home when I was completely left high and dry by the morons up at sixt at Belfast international airport who gave my car away having already paid for it in advance because I was late picking it up. I rang Europcar in a panic and they got me got me sorted in 20 mins to pick car up first thing next morning. The car was excellent too. I cant speak highly enough of the Europcar Boucher road team and would recommend them to anyone.
Poor experience. Office supposed to be open at 0800 so I rang 3 times to confirm my booking. No answer. Ended up showing up at the location at 0920 and the nice man at the counter hadn't logged into the system yet and said they were 'of too a slow start this morning'... Apparently my car had been 'locked' by head office because it was due for servicing so I was offered an older damaged vehicle for the same price that i had to wait to be cleaned. I asked for a map to which I was told that head office hadn't given them any. This was a really poor experience and felt like a second class operation. I expect way more from a global organisation. Won't be rushing back to Europcar anytime soon...To add too the above issues I have just pulled into a service station to put air in the tyres as they felt flat. All tyres had different readings ranging from 32-38. All of the caps were hard to remove which usually means that air has not been added to these tyres for a long time. I was right. The front left Tyre valve was so corroded that when I applied the airline the whole valve crumbled and air started hemoraging air until it went flat. After an hour of being on the phone I'm still no closer to a resolution with the 'express service' team. This car has clearly not been serviced properly as it only has 60% oil. This experience is killing my holiday and based on my experience so far with Europcar I'm concerned I might be sleeping in the car. Please help.
