We were unable to rent a car because of the ridiculous preauthorisation they put on your card- 1200! If your credit limit isnt that high, your only alternative is paying for their insurance, at around 30 a day. We walked out of there and found much better customer service and a better rental at Enterprise nearby. This Hertz location is also difficult to get to, small, and grimy.
We were visiting from Canada , Robert at the Ravenhill location's customer service is the best!! Thanks to him we would rent from Hertz again, can't thank Robert enough for all of his help with our rental. Robert truly cares about his customers. We had picked up the car from the City Centre airport and the experience was not good.
Staff member was friendly and chatty. He even called a cab for us and engaged with us the entire wait. Thanks again!
